It's been a rough summer for supposed blockbusters. After the success of Man of Steel, things have been going downhill for big-budget films: White House Down and The Lone Ranger flopped already, and according to The Wrap, Pacific Rim, R.I.P.D. and Turbo are heading in that same direction.

However, the website notes that director James Mangold's The Wolverine is projected to open in North America to the tune of $70 million, which would come a lot closer to making up some of the $100 million budget than its predecessors did.

The following Wolverine featurette from Total Film shines the spotlight on the soon-to-be-shinier Harada, a.k.a. the Silver Samurai, played by Will Yun Lee (Hawaii Five-O, Red Dawn), who at least starts off protecting Mariko (Tao Okamoto).

Meanwhile, another deadly character takes center stage at IGN in a video that focuses on Yukio as played by Rila Fukushima, showing what looks like her first meeting with Wolverine as well as character commentary from Mangold and star Hugh Jackman.

Opening July 26, The Wolverine also stars Svetlana Khodchenkova, Famke Jensen and Hiroyuki Sanada.
