Following last night's episode of "Supergirl," the CW teased what's coming up in the next installment in the high-flying superhero series. This promo for the next episode of the CW superhero show teases that things won't be easy for Supergirl and the citizens of National City, not as the law tries to track down the new vigilante known as the Guardian.

Then there's also the matter of the Cyborg Superman, whose arrival on the show has been teased for a few weeks now. This new teaser shows Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) duking it out with Supergirl, thus lending more evidence to the theory that Hank is Cyborg Supes. You can check out the promo and synopsis below.

IT’S SUPERGIRL VS. CYBORG SUPERMAN — While Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) tries to clear his name after being accused of a murder committed by another vigilante, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El (Chris Wood) who has been captured by CADMUS. While fighting to free Mon-El, Supergirl comes face to face with Cyborg Superman. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Robert Rovner & Paula Yoo (#207). Original airdate 11/21/2016.

Of course if you've been watching "Supergirl," all this might seen confusing. After all, Henshaw is actually the alien superhero known as Martian Manhunter; he only uses his shapeshifting powers to play the role of Hank Henshaw. In the comics however, Henshaw is an independent character of Martian Manhunter -- and that Henshaw is Cyborg Superman. One possible explanation for all this: the Henshaw that David Harewood's alien character is impersonating on the show could be alive and well. Could that be the Henshaw that we see in this trailer fighting Supergirl?

Harewood even theorized that this could be the case during a recent set visit. The actor hinted that the real Hank Henshaw may not be as dead as fans have assumed. Asked whether there were a chance Henshaw was still alive, Harewood told CBR and other reporters, “There’s always a chance! It’d fun to play him again; I quite like him. But yeah, there’s definitely a chance. Watch this space. You never know!”

Starring Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, "Supergirl" airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars David Harewood as Martian Manhunter, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott and features appearances by Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant as well as Tyler Hoechlin's Superman.
