In a perfect example of company synergy, Slashfilm reports a new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut with Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015.

The first trailer for The Force Awakens premiered Friday, providing the first glimpse of stars John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley in a galaxy far, far away. Pairing Star Wars and Avengers together is a no-brainer -- especially considering Lucasfilm and Marvel are both owned by Disney. Plus, the trailer will drop a mere eight months before the arrival of The Force Awakens.

However, it's unknown whether the trailer will be the second official glimpse fans get of the anticipated film, or third, or fourth. There are plenty of opportunities for Disney to leverage its Star Wars-related content, and Age of Ultron just happens to be the most obvious.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters Dec. 18, 2015.
