As anticipation builds for what's expected to be the imminent release of the teaser trailer, a purported new logo has surfaced for "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

The treatment, which appeared this morning on Reddit, is noticeably different from the original version released in April in that it features the updated Marvel Studios logo, and the words "Spider-Man" are no longer curved. "Homecoming," with the stylized face of Spider-Man forming the "O," remains the same.

The image also includes the hashtag #SpiderManHomecoming, presumably in preparation for a social media effort tied to the release of the trailer.

The teaser, which is rumored to be attached to "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," was screened over the weekend for an audience at Comic Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The enthusiastic response was recorded and released by Sony Pictures Brazil.

Directed by Jon Watts, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" spins out of the events of "Captain America: Civil War," as Peter Parker tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student with fighting crime as a costumed superhero.

Opening July 7, 2017, the joint Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures production stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.
