They say the eyes are the window to the soul, so what does a video of larger Spider-Man eyes mean? Well, a change in costume for one thing. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb tweeted a video showing a quick frame or two of the Web-Head's new headgear. The brief glimpse shows larger, silvery eyeholes for Spidey (you can see an image below, even if the video is virtually impossible to find on the website).

Meanwhile, Felicity Jones (Chalet Girl, Breathe In) told RTL Netherlands she has officially joined the cast of the Columbia Pictures sequel, although she didn't specify in which role. "I've never done a superhero movie," she said. "It's very nice to you as an actor in several worlds to go and to experiment."

Rumors have already begun to swirl that Jones might play Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat. Outwardly lighthearted and flirty, the cat burglar wound up becoming a love interest for Spider-Man.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which opens May 4, 2014, also stars Shailene Woodley, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field and Martin Sheen.
