New "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" Trailer Debuts

The rock 'em, sock 'em trailer for the summer's most anticipated indie comics film is live online with your first look at Sex Bob-omb, Ramona's evil ex twins and a sword-slinging Knives Chau courtesy of director Edgar Wright.

Behold the power of social networking at work! Last week, "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" director Edgar Wright promised via Twitter the new trailer for his Universal Picture would debut once it earned 100,000 fans on Facebook. With the film's friend list now topping 102K, fans of Bryan Lee O'Malley's seminal slacker hero have two minutes and 33 seconds of footage to fawn over before the film's August 13 release nationwide.
