With only five weeks to go until "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," the first anthology film in the blockbuster franchise, lands in theaters, more and more posters, portraits and behind the scenes images are popping up every day. The latest batch of promotional images have arrived online, this time focusing on everyone from the young Mon Mothma to Warwick Davis' new alien character.

First, Genevieve O'Reilly gets a close up in a new portrait highlighting "Rogue One's" Mon Mothma.

O'Reilly is reprising her role as Mon Mothma, which she previously played in a deleted scene in 2005's "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith." Mon Mothma the character, as played by Caroline Blakiston, debuted in 1983's "Return of the Jedi."

Next up, there's a new international version of the latest "Rogue One" poster, this one showcasing another exotic planet -- Yavin. This poster, which hails from Mexico, was posted to twitter by screenwriter Gary Whitta.

And lastly, the website Star Wars Aficionado has found a few more behind-the-scenes images from "Rogue One," showcasing director Gareth Edwards as well as franchise alum Warwick Davis.

Set outside of the main sequel trilogy that began with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Rogue One” is set just before 1977’s “Star Wars” and details the Rebel plot to steal the Death Star plans from the Empire. Directed by Gareth Edwards (“Godzilla,” “Monsters”) from a script by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz, “Rogue One” stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna and Riz Ahmed.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” opens on December 16.
