"Preacher" is on its way back television screens, and to celebrate the occasion, AMC has released four new images from the second season of the Vertigo Comics-based series -- and they're pretty damn powerful.

The key art prominently features the show's lead characters, Jesse (Dominic Cooper), Jesse's girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Jesse's best friend -- and beloved Irish vampire -- Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun). Between the technicolor, pop art-style posters and the tagline "Powerful AF," this is shaping up to be one huge, memorable season.

Fans can start getting prepared for a double helping of "Preacher" this summer; the second season of the Seth Rogen/Evan Goldberg-executive produced series premieres June 25 at 10/9c on AMC, followed by a second episode June 26 at 9/8c -- the series' regular time slot.

The hit show, based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, follows Jesse, a criminal-turned-preacher who realizes that God is gone from Heaven and goes on a search to find Him, leading him, Tulip, and Cassidy to New Orleans. While in New Orleans, they have to battle secret agents, local gangs, and the central villain of the series, the Saint of Killers, a cowboy from Hell.
