Playstation Network has debuted a series of new photos from the second season of "Powers," which will dig into the mystery of Retro Girl's death.

The character portraits, released via Nerdist, feature returning cast members Sharlto Copley and Susan Heyward along with newcomers Tricia Helfer and Michael Madsen, the latter in his SuperShock costume.

Though Wil Wheaton is absent from the photoset, the pictures provide a glimpse at what to expect when the series, based on Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's acclaimed comic of the same name, returns later this year.
