Sure the upcoming alien-invasion-by-way-of-arcade-games film "Pixels" stars a number of big names -- from "SNL" alum and comedy icon Adam Sandler to everyone's favorite (and still standing for now) "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage. But for a very particular group of fans, there's one major selling point of the film: classic video game characters like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and more coming to life to wreck stuff up!

The latest "Pixels" featurette released by Sony plays exactly toward this audience by highlighting the love and care the filmmakers and cast are putting toward bringing these characters to life -- an including all their individual quirks, references and arcade-world logic. Between seeing Donkey Kong rolling barrels and Sandler's Sam Brenner yelling instructions on how to take out "Caterpillar" and more, there's a lot in this particular featurette to get you excited for the upcoming film.

"Pixels," directed by Chris Columbus and starring Adam Sandler, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad, Michelle Monaghan and Kevin James, arrives in theaters July 24, 2015.
