Following the official unveiling Tuesday morning, "The Flash" star Grant Gustin made his debut in costume on the Vancouver set of the CW pilot, providing the first full-body look at the burgundy bodysuit.

Photos surfacing on Mail Online and veooz capture the 24-year-old actor outside, allowing for the design to be assessed without the dramatic lighting and effects. Fans now can better see the suit's fit -- no, it's not skin-tight -- as well as details like the ear wings, boots and belt.

The costume was designed by Colleen Atwood, the longtime Tim Burton collaborator who won Academy Awards for her work on "Alice in Wonderland," "Chicago" and "Memoirs of a Geisha."

The pilot for the "Arrow" spinoff is directed by television veteran David Nutter ("Game of Thrones," "The X-Files") from a script by DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and "Arrow" executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. "The Flash" also stars Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin as Detective West, Rick Cosnett as Detective Eddie Thawne, Patrick Sabongui as Captain David Singh, Danielle Panabaker as bioengineering expert Caitlin Snow, Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen and John Wesley Shipp in an unrevealed role.
