Showtime and Titan Comics have announced that “Penny Dreadful” will return in a new comic book series, set six months after the show’s finale that aired in June.
Penny Dreadful’s Co-Executive Producer Chris King and artist Jesús Hervás (“Sons of Anarchy“) are working together to bring the story back to life in early 2017.
After the devastating events of the TV series finale, Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) attempts to cope with the loss of Vanessa Ives (Eva Green). Despite his grief, he’s again tasked with fighting against creatures of the night. Showtime made the announcement via Twitter earlier today.
