Lucasfilm has released the second chapter of its fan-created "Go Rogue" stop-motion animated series, which showcases new toys from "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" in a humorous adventure.

Chapter 1 set the tone, with Jyn Erso attempting to escape with the coveted Death Star plans. The second installment begins with an irate Orson Krennic berating his troops to find the stolen schematics. Back on Jedha, Jyn Erso joins forces with the Rebels to take on a titanic Stormtrooper, TKXLL. K-2SO delivers an appropriately timed one-liner, and the team manages to take the giant down with some clever improvisation.

Aboard their ship, the crew decides to take a look at the plans they retrieved, only to learn they have just the first piece of the vital, top-secret data. It turns out there's more to the adventure yet.

The "Star Wars: Go Rogue" shorts were animated by Dan MacKenzie and Tucker Barrie and produced in conjunction with Tongal. They were designed to build interest in the "Go Rogue" contestm which will take place from Sept. 30 to Oct. 21. Winners will have an opportunity to visit Lucafilm and Rancho Obi-Wan, as well as have their entry premiere on the big screen for an audience.

Opening Dec. 16, director Gareth Edwards' "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Riz Ahmed, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
