Channing Tatum is getting serious with his next film Foxcatcher. The actor might have been able to show off his comedic edge in recent projects like 22 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie, but he's going down a far darker and more dramatic path with his latest film.

Directed by Bennett Miller (Moneyball, Capote), Foxcatcher tells the tragic true story of Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz (Tatum), and how his trainer John du Pont (Steve Carrell) killed Schultz's brother David (Mark Ruffalo).

Sienna Miller, Vanessa Redgrave and Anthony Michael Hall also star in the biopic, which opens Nov. 14.
