Fans of J.K. Rowling's body of wizarding work have long awaited her new Harry Potter spinoff film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Yesterday, Pottermore debuted a never-before-seen featurette of the new film, which features interviews with the cast, the introduction of four new characters, and a behind-the-scenes look at the American world of wizardry.

According to Eddie Redmayne, who plays the English wizard Newt Scamander, "Fantastic Beasts" is unlike anything he has ever been a part of. Director David Yates comments on working with J.K. Rowling, which he notes, "Fantastic Beasts" is her first screenplay. Alison Sudol, who plays an American wizard, shares her experiences working with a wand, and how she wishes she could use one in real life.

This video featurette wonderfully places viewers in the heart of 1920s New York, in a world that the studio has recreated to bring to life the stunning tale of Newt Scamander and his magical beasts. Check out the video below:

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" previously released its first trailer back in November, and its first official images in December. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is produced by Warner Bros., stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrel, and opens November 2016.
