After a scan from its latest print issue surfaced online, Empire Magazine has released several hi-res images of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The photos highlight Bruce Wayne's apocalyptic vision, which appears to tease the imminent arrival of Darkseid, as well as Superman's abilities and Doomsday.

"[Batman] is not giving people a chance," producer Charles Roven revealed in the piece. "He is more than a vigilante. He has become not only the cop, if you will, he has also become the jury and executioner."

"He's older, [and] he's seen the worst of what man can do. He's been darkened by it, he's tougher, he's angrier, I guess," he continued, adding, "He's still lost those that are near and dear to him, and not necessarily from old age or disease."

Directed by Zack Snyder, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters March 25, 2016, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
