20th Century Fox wished director Ridley Scott a happy birthday by Tweeting a new, behind-the-scenes photo of his upcoming film "Alien: Covenant," the follow-up to 2012's "Prometheus."

The photo doesn't show a lot of action, but it does feature a familiar set in the background: the control room and chair where the Engineer is found during the expedition into the mysterious, alien ship during "Prometheus."

Ridley Scott provides some direction in this new behind-the-scenes photo from Alien: Covenant.

“Alien: Covenant” follows a colonial expedition bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, where the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

David was last seen on the Engineer's ship heading to find the home world of the Engineer species with Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace).  The control room in 20th Century Fox's photo could possibly be that same ship.

“Alien: Covenant” stars Katherine Waterston and alongside Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace. Guy Pearce will also reprise his “Prometheus” role. The movie will hit theaters May 19, earlier than its original release date of August 4.
