The Netflix reboot of the 1960s sci-fi classic "Lost in Space" has added the final member of the Robinson family.

Deadline reports that Mina Sundwall, last seen in "Maggie's Plan" with Ethan Hawke, has been tapped to play younger daughter Penny Robinson. She joins a cast that includes Toby Stephens (“Black Sails”) and Molly Parker ("Deadwood") as her parents John and Maureen Robinson, Taylor Russel (“Falling Skies”) as older sister Judy and Maxwell Jenkins (“Betrayal”) as younger brother Will.

Created by Irwin Allen, the original series, which aired from 1965 to 1968, followed the Robinson family, who are selected by the U.S. government to colonize a planet of the nearby Alpha Centauri system. However, their ship is sabotaged by foreign secret agent Dr. Zachary Smith, who’s trapped inside as the Jupiter 2 veers off course and is … lost in space. Although the first season was more serious in tone, in the second season the series became more campy as it tried to compete against ABC’s “Batman."

The reboot's cast is rounded out by Parker Posey in the Dr. Smith role, and Ignacio Serricchio as the ship's pilot, Don West. Zack Erstin ("Prison Run") will serve as showrunner.

"Lost in Space" is scheduled to debut in 2018 on Netflix.
