After casting Neil Patrick Harris to star in "A Series of Unfortunate Events," Netflix has found two of the children for his villainous Count Olaf to torment.

Deadline reports Malina Weissman ("Supergirl") and newcomer Louis Hynes will play Violet and Klaus in the television adaptation of the children's novels by Lemony Snicket (aka author Daniel Handler).

"A Series of Unfortunate Events" recounts the story of the orphaned Baudelaire children -- Violet, Klaus and Sunny -- as they face one peril after another after being placed in the care of their relative Count Olaf, who's only concern is getting his hands on their inheritance. Jim Carrey starred in the 2004 film adaptation.

Barry Sonnenfeld and "True Blood" showrunner Mark Hudis are producing the series, with Handler serving as an executive producer.

Production is targeted to begin in March in Vancouver.
