Let’s not beat around the bush: Netflix has at last announced the fourth season of Arrested Development will premiere May 26. The news arrived courtesy of the show’s Facebook page, by way of this poster and the message, “15 Episodes, May 26, only on Netflix. Try to contain yourself.”
The fourth, and probably final, season of the beloved-but-cancelled series takes a look at what the various members of the Bluth family have been up to since they last appeared on on Fox in 2006.
Stars Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Jeffrey Tambor, Michael Cera, Porta de Rossi, Jessica Walter, David Cross, Alia Shawkat and Tony Hale will all return, joined by original series guest stars Andy Richter and Liza Minelli, and newcomers Kristen Wiig, Seth Rogen, Conan O’Brien, Terry Crews, Isla Fisher and John Slattery. Rogen revealed at WonderCon that he and Wiig shot their scenes together, but he didn’t go into any further detail, but we do know that Wiig is supposed to appear as a young Lucille which might mean Rogen plays a more youthful George (or his twin brother Oscar).
