Netflix’s upcoming Castelvania anime series just dropped its first trailer. While the trailer itself is just under a minute, it showcases a nice amount of footage, which will give fans a sense of what the show is about. If the trailer is any indication, there will be lots of gore, fighting and everything you’d expect form a vampire-related anime.

According to the official series description,

Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar.

As of yet, there is no official U.S. release date that has been announced. However, the Netflix LATAM trailer does indicate a July 7th release. However, it is unclear if the series will be released in the U.S. on the same day. Expect more updates as more information and trailers inevitably come in.
