After being dropped by Paramount earlier this week, 'The Little Prince' has been picked up by the streaming service Netflix.

Paramount was supposed to release 'The Little Prince' this Friday, March 18, but instead they pulled it from their schedule. Thankfully it didn't take another company long to pick it up. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix will distribute the film via its streaming platform.

'The Little Prince,' an animated feature based on the 1943 book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, was originally released overseas during the summer of 2015. It has already grossed over $80 million and has picked up France’s Cesar Award for best animated film. Paramount has yet to comment about why they dropped the film.
