NBC has renewed "Grimm" for a sixth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons,” NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said in a statement. “They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can’t wait to see what comes next.”

When factoring in seven days of DVR, season five has averaged 6.4 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. NBC has also renewed shows such as "Law & Order: SVU," "Chicago Fire," "Chicago PD," "Chicago Med," "Blindspot," "The Blacklist" and "Shades of Blue."

Starring David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby and Bitsie Tulloch, "Grimm" airs Fridays at 9 pm EST on NBC.
