WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for Naomi Season 1, Episode 3, "Zero to Sixty " now available on the CW.

In Naomi, one of Naomi's (Kaci Walfall) biggest issues has been hiding her lineage from her parents. She's been working with Dee, a Thanagarian soldier, to unlock her abilities, while investigating  Zumbado, as he may have clues to her mysterious homeworld. However, while her parents, Greg and Jennifer, chided Naomi for lying and keeping secrets in the latest episode, they dropped a massive bombshell of their own by revealing the site that could hold clues to so many answers.

Naomi assumed they didn't know she was an alien. It's why she crept behind their backs and didn't say anything about Zumbado and the alien disc. Seeing as Greg's in the military, she didn't want extra heat coming down on him. However, Naomi wasn't adept at her detective game, getting caught ducking school and lying. Initially, the parents were worried she was sabotaging her college dreams, but after realizing she was on this journey of self-discovery, they took her to the woods where she found the disc.

Naomi's parents reveal where she was found

They revealed a structure on the ground similar to the disc, admitting this is where they found her. The glyphs activated, which hint this is the gateway Zumbado spoke of, to which Naomi is the key. It looks like either a ship brought her here or she was thrown through a portal to hide on Earth, as earlier scenes confirmed a civil war tore the planet apart, led by Zumbado. It's a scene similar to many Superman stories, where Jonathan and Martha reveal to Clark he wasn't a Kent, but a Kryptonian from the House of El. However, while Naomi had their support to go deeper into the mystery, this could be problematic.

Firstly, Greg joined a task force to hunt aliens, so him trying to protect Naomi could land him in trouble. It'll be seen as treasonous; plus, if he ends up on a squad trying to take Dee down, it may even end in death for Greg. Secondly, Jen could also be held as an accomplice in this conspiracy, as the military would have wanted this reported 16 years ago when they found her.

Thus, by protecting Naomi, they could have set themselves up to be ripped from her, which can lead to her losing control of her powers and maybe even becoming a pseudo-villain. Ultimately, this secret has brought the family closer, but as much as fans would love to see how the couple made this choice and how they all fare down the line, it's apparent they're all in tremendous danger with many parties seeking Naomi out.

See how Greg and Jen handle the drama in Naomi, with new episodes airing on The CW Tuesdays at 9 pm ET/PT.
