Official Press Release

Hey, True Believer!

For those of you who made the journey to the San Diego Comic Con, all of us here at The House want to thank everyone — including the readers, the retailers, and the media — who stopped by the Marvel Booth! All of our staffers and creators loved having the chance to talk with you about the comics we all love… and how cool was that free MARVEL: 2001 preview book?

While some people at other companies choose to spend their valuable time at S.D. taking shots at us, we hoped you appreciated hearing more from us about all the great projects we’re cooking up, like…

  • Greg Rucka and Yoshitaka Amano on Elektra & Wolverine: The Redeemer
  • The arrival of Byran Hitch to The House
  • The expansion of our Marvel Masterworks program
  • Stever Gerber’s return to Howard The Duck
  • The new team of Mike Grell and Michael Ryan on Iron Man
  • Kevin Smith’s plans for a new Black Cat series, and
  • Stan “The Man” Lee and Alan Davis creating the official comic book adaptation of the Spider-Man movie!

Speaking of “cool projects,” here’s three more covers that didn’t fit into our October catalog… and they’re just too good to remain hidden!
