Every day this month I'm going to feature the work of a great artist, only instead of me picking the artist to feature, they will be picked by their peers, fellow professional comic book artists who are picking out artists (from the past and present) who they think deserve special attention. Do note that most artists I asked about this gave me multiple answers and I picked out one choice out of a number of suggestions, so these are not definitive answers, like "Artist X likes Artist Y and he thinks all other Artists are terrible!" Here is an archive of the artists featured so far!

Today, we have the pick of Francis Manapul, who is one of DC's biggest artists right now. He's just about to become the regular artist on the new Adventure Comics! Here's his website.

Francis' pick is Agnes Garbowska.

Agnes Garbowska is coming out with her first comic book series, titled You, Me and Zombies!

It's about a young woman, her dog and a town full of zombies that she's trying to stop!

To pass the time until the series is ready to go, Garbowska posted a short story showing how the main character met her dog...

Outside of this story, Garbowska mostly uses a chibi art style (where you draw characters tiny/younger).

Here are some chibi-style art commissions she's done...

And here are some sample pages using the mini DC characters from the recent Batman/Superman storyline...

Here are some other various sequential pages by Garbowska...

and here....

I enjoy her chibi style, but I really like the transition she has made with the new series.

You can get information about the new series here.

And you can check out her website here.
