Disney has released a new full-length trailer for "Moana" that showcases the action as well as the interactions between protagonists Moana (Auli'i Cravalho) and Maui (Dwayne Johnson) in the the upcoming 3D-animated musical fantasy adventure.

When her peaceful island is endangered by mystical evil, young navigator Moana must set off on a journey to save her people. However, she will need help, and first must track down the shape-shifting demigod Maui, who can provide some extra muscle. Along the way, she will discover her true potential as a hero, and eventually defeat the villain threatening her homeland.

The trailer shows the pair's initial meeting, highlights their lighthearted relationship, displays their impressive powers, then introduces some bad guys they'll tangle with as they make their way across the ocean.
