Following the reveal of its release date via a new minute-long trailer, the upcoming FX X-Men-related drama series "Legion" has released a quartet of new promotional spots. The five new looks at "Legion," which places "Downton Abbey" alum Dan Stevens in the lead role of the schizophrenic mutant David, show off the TV show's surreal -- and at times creepy -- vibe.

All five spots are under 15 seconds in length, but still manage to run through a host of mind-expanding visuals and perception-twisting reveals. One thing's for certain: "Legion" won't look like any other comic-based show on television. You can marathon all five spots in under a minute below.

The show’s main character was first introduced in 1985 in Marvel’s “New Mutants” #25 as a young man with dissociative identity disorder whose personas each control one of his several mutant abilities. According to the show’s official description, “Since he was a teenager, David has struggled with mental illness. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.”

Starring Dan Stevens, Katie Aselton, Jeremie Harris, Bill Irwin, Rachel Keller and Amber Midthunder, season one of “Legion,” will consist of eight episodes and debuts February 8 on FX.
