Just in time for the release of "Dark Knight III: The Master Race," DC All Access has a new video interview up with co-writer and cover artist on the series, Frank Miller, who began the Batman epic with his landmark work "The Dark Knight Returns" back in 1986.

Miller discussed his inspiration for the aged take on Batman, and went on to cite his own personal experience of getting older -- noting that he's now 50, just as Bruce was in the first "Dark Knight" epic.

On his appreciation for Batman and "hatred" for Superman, Miller jokes, "Who wouldn't hate somebody who could fly....who was loved by everybody....who could get all the dates...Of course I went for the underdog."

Also touching on the intelligence of the series' Robin, Carrie Kelley, Miller remarked, "She's a brilliant as he is, but much more in tune with her own time."

And lastly, when asked if he's done with the "Dark Knight" series, Miller simply replied, "I'm not dead yet."
