Following a very strange few weeks in which hackers allegedly employed by the North Korean government launched a cyberattack against Sony Pictures, resulting in the cancellation of the comedy The Interview amid leaks and threats, Saturday Night Live to find a little humor in the situation.

SNL veteran Mike Myers returned for Saturday's cold open to reprise his role as the over-the-top Austin Powers villain Dr. Evil, who interrupted "A Very Somber Christmas With Sam Smith" to deliver a message to North Korea and Sony: "I mean, what the F, people?"

Myers played the character, as well as the title hero, in all three Austin Powers films. Before that, the actor appeared on the long-running NBC sketch comedy series from 1989 to 1995.
