"Avengers: Infinity War" has been filming outside Atlanta since early February, and while Marvel Studios has yet to release an official cast list, it's expected that most of the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will unite to face Thanos. It was only recently confirmed that Earth's Mightiest Heroes will meet the Guardians of the Galaxy on screen for the first time, so perhaps it's only logical that Yondu is included in that ensemble.

Fan-favorite actor Michael Rooker, who reprises his role as Yondu in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," posted a photo taken today at a Starbucks in Peachtree, Georgia, about 10 miles from Pinewood Atlanta Studios, the filming location for the "Avengers" sequel. In the snapshot, he's wearing the "Infinity War" beanie worn by cast and crew.

Having a great morning so far at my lovely local Starbucks in Peachtree city Georgia.....ShitYes!!!

Rooker previously teased his involvement with the film, but if that photo isn't enough to be considered confirmation, perhaps the next shot, showing his hand covered in blue Yondu makeup, will be. (Of course, there's nothing saying the photo was actually taken today.)

Directed Joe and Anthony Russo (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Captain America: Civil War”), “Avengers: Infinity War” boasts a sprawling ensemble cast that’s so far confirmed to include such actors as Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Benedict Cumberbatch, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin, Karen Gillan, Zoe Saldana, Tomo Holland and Pom Klementieff. However, they’re only for starters, as the film draws in most of the key players from all corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film arrives May 4, 2018, followed by an as-yet-untitled sequel on May 3, 2019.
