With production underway on the sequel to 2014's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," producer Michael Bay has opened up the garage door and posted a few pics on his website of the vehicles to be used in the 2016 film. The images depict a garbage truck and a sporty convertible -- two vehicles that could be the growing franchise's Turtle Van and Neutrino hot rod.

The first two images feature what appears to be a garbage truck painted in the Turtle Van's signature yellow and green color scheme. The phrase "Tartaruga Brothers" is written on the side; "tartaruga" is Italian for turtle. The third image is of a futuristic looking convertible, which looks quite a bit like the vehicle used by the Neutrinos, a group of teenage rebels from Dimension X. The alternate dimension locale was revealed to be part of the film in an interview with producer Brad Fuller.

The Dave Green-directed sequel has been drawing a lot of inspiration from the '80s source material, specifically the popular cartoon series. Tyler Perry has signed on to play Baxter Stockman and "Arrow's" Stephen Amell will play Casey Jones. Additionally, cartoon villains Bebop and Rocksteady will make their big screen debut in the film.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" opens on June 3, 2016.
