The samurai Autobot Drift will return for "Transformers: The Last Knight," and he'll be sporting a dramatically different look.

Director Michael Bay unveiled the first photo of the Transformer's new car form, a red-and-black Mercedes Benz AMG GT R. When Drift made his big-screen debut in 2014's "Transformers: Age of Extinction," it was as a black-and-blue Bugatti Veyron.

Voiced by Ken Watanabe, Drift was assigned by his sensei Optimus Prime to watch over the Yeager family when the latter left Earth.

The first look at the updated Drift follows similar unveilings for Bumblebee, Megatron and Barricade, as well as the new character Squeeks.

Arriving June 23, 2017, “Transformers: The Last Knight” stars Mark Wahlberg, Isabela Moner, Jerrod Carmichael, Josh Duhamel and Anthony Hopkins.
