"Fantastic Four" star Michael B. Jordan star is reportedly in talks to star in MGM's film adaptation of the Dark Horse Comics series "Blood Brothers," according to TrackingBoard.

In Mike Gagerman, Andrew Waller and Evan Shaner's "Blood Brothers" miniseries, two afterlife-long vampire friends have a falling out just as an apocalypse-obsessed villain launches his scheme to an end to humanity. If he signs onto the role, Jordan would play Tree, one of the two lead protagonists.

Dark Horse Entertainment's Mike Richardson is attached as producer with Keith Goldberg overseeing. Matt Dines, Adam Rosenberg, and Jonathan Glickman will oversee for the studio. Etan Cohen, Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly are said to have worked on scripts for the adaption, though TB's sources say the studio is looking for a new script with a "Lethal Weapon" and "48 Hours" angle.

Jordan's past credits include "Chronicle" and "Fruitvale Station." He will also appear in the upcoming "Creed" film alongside Sylvester Stallone.
