News of Wonder Woman's critical and financial success is still rolling in, but the stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are already heaping praise on the rival company's film, Patty Jenkins (its director) and, of course, star Gal Gadot. Following Chris Hemsworth admitting over the weekend that Wonder Woman would defeat Thor in battle, other members of the Avengers posse took to Twitter to add to the plaudits being garnered by Diana of Themyscira. They included Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo of Avengers fame, as well as Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia in Black Panther). They were joined by director Joss Whedon, who was ironically slated in the past to make a Wonder Woman movie, but is now helming Batgirl.

The Guardians of the Galaxy big names also congratulated Jenkins and company, including director James Gunn, Karen Gillan and co-writer of the first movie, Nicole Perlman.

On the television side of things, the Netflix pocket of the MCU also had their say with Rosario Dawson, who plays linchpin nurse Claire Temple, and Vincent D'Onofrio applauding the movie, along with writer and Marvel comic book alumni Chris Yost (screenwriter on Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok).
