Following the release of both international and U.S.-based trailers, the upcoming adaptation of Mattel's popular "Max Steel" toy line has debuted a short clip from the film.

A new scene from the anticipated live-action movie finds Max McGrath (Ben Winchell) experimenting with his new powers -- with predictably explosive results.
Directed by Stewart Hendler (“Sorority Row”) and written by veteran comics scribe Christopher Yost (“Thor: Ragnarok”), “Max Steel” stars Ben Winchell, Ana Villafañe, Andy García, Maria Bello and Billy Slaughter, in addition to the voice of “Silicon Valley’s” Josh Brener as the fast-talking super-suit. The film follows Max McGarth, a teenager who digs into his late father’s scientific research, and uncovers an extraterrestrial named Steel. Fusing with alien life-form, the superhero Max Steel is born.
