Richard Boylan may not be a household name (yet), but chances are if you are a fan of Bioware RPGs, you've enjoyed his work. Boylan has been a designer of cinematics for the game developer since "Mass Effect 3," doing work for the game's various DLCs, including the recent "Dragon Age: Inquisition." Currently, he is hard at work designing cinematics for the upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda," but he's still managed to find the time to make a very odd, and very awesome, short film.

Called "Tank Head," the video promises to be the first in a series about the titular character. Who is Tank Head? Quite simply, he's a guy who's head is a tank. Not just the cannon of a tank, but the entire vehicle, treads and all. The video features a truly unique art style, all scratchy lines and surreal rotoscoped imagery. Tank Head is depicted here as some sort of giant, battling another giant guy, though his opponent has angel wings. Frankly, it needs to be seen to be believed.

If anything, the video evokes a feeling of the popular anime "Attack On Titan." Something about the combination of battling behemoths, regular-sized people falling off of walls, distorted creatures attacking innocent victims and screeching guitar sounds calls to mind the imagery of that series. The art style, though, renders "Tank Head" a unique experience.

Boylan has not given any details of any of his future video shorts, but "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is expected to be released in March of 2017.
