Remember just the other day when it was reported that Australian actress Robin McLeavy had joined Timur Bekmambetov's adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter as Honest Abe's wife Mary Todd? No, you don't. It was a figment of your imagination. Never happened.

It appears that McLeavy's two-way race for the Vampire Hunter role has actually gone to her competitor, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World star Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Heat Vision reveals. Latino Review reported on Monday via an unattributed source that the role was McLeavy's and ... well ... that's why we don't put stock in rumors, kids. I feel like that ought to be a lesson on Sesame Street.

Winstead joins the previously cast star Benjamin Walker, as well as Dominic Cooper and, possibly, Anthony Mackie. Cooper takes the role of Henry Sturges, Lincoln's mentor in the ways of hunting vampires. Mackie was still in talks at the last report, to play the role of one of Lincoln's best friends.
