Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, film and television productions have had to shut down, throwing release dates out of balance. Marvel Studios' upcoming Disney+ original series WandaVision is no exception.

The series was previously slated to arrive in late 2020. According to The Hollywood Reporter, however, WandaVision is now scheduled to debut in spring 2021 alongside Loki. THR added the caveat "if things go as planned," since the pandemic is still ongoing and could still affect the show's release

Production on WandaVision was reportedly set to resume this month. The series had apparently finished filming, as well as VFX work; it is possible reshoots were still needed. Filming on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also rumored to resume this month; that series was set to debut in August, but currently does not have a release date.

WandaVision focuses on Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff and Vision as they attempt to live a regular life. However, all may not be as it seems due to Wanda's reality-warping powers.

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn. The limited series will debut on Disney+; currently, it does not have a release date.
