While Marvel’s “Runaways” won’t appear on Hulu until sometime in 2018, the cast for the series is starting to fill up -- and some well known faces will be making their way to the show.

The series revolves around a group of children who find out that their parents are actually super-villains, choosing to run away from home in search of their own path. According to TVLine, the roles for the “Pride," or the parents of the show's youths, have now been cast.

Among some of the more well known actors are James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampie Slayer”), Annie Wersching (“24”), Kevin Weisman (“Alias”), Brigid Brannagh (“Army Wives”), and Ever Carradine (“Major Crimes”). Also joining the cast of parents are Ryan Sands (“The Wire”), Angel Parker (“The People v. O.J. Simpson”), Brittany Ishibashi (“Emily Owens M.D.”), James Yaegashi (coming from the Broadway rendition of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”), and Kip Pardue (“Ray Donovan”).

In an announcement of the casting, executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage praised the cast, calling it “an abundance of riches” and noting that they were “so excited to have assembled our Pride," though they jokingly warned that “the fate of humanity should be very concerned." Brian K. Vaughn, the co-creator of the comic series and also the executive consultant on the TV series, added, “[This series] has enough great actors to support two shows, but I love that this project contains multiple generations of incredible talent all in one story.”

From the looks of the report, James Marsters and Ever Carradine will portray Victor and Janet Stein, the parents of Chase (played by Gregg Sulkin). Victor is a genius of an engineer and Janet is a typical housewife, although she longs for more from her life. Annie Wersching and Kip Pardue play Leslie and Frank Dean, Carolina’s (Virginia Gardner) parents. Leslie is described as a “poised and skilled leader” and Frank is a former teen actor who is now insecure about himself.

Kevin Weisman and Brigid Brannagh play Dale and Stacey Yorkes, the parents of Gert (Ariela Barer). Dale is a bioengineer who’s described as having a “deep love for his family," and Stacey is also a bioengineer that “utilizes a more progressive approach to her parenting." Ryan Sands and Angel Parker play Geoffrey and Catherine Wilder, Alex’s (Rhenzy Feliz) parents. Geoffrey will be someone with “a hulking presence who can effortlessly shift from approachable father to intimidating strategist," and Catherine is a successful lawyer who is described as “deliberate and calculating”.

Finally, Brittany Ishibashi and James Yaegashi play Tina and Robert Minoru, the parents of Nico (Lyrica Okano). Tina is a “perfectionist tiger mom," as well as a ruthless CEO. Robert is a “gentle and brilliant beta," and desired as “the Woz to his wife’s Jobs."

Marvel’s “Runaways” has no concrete release date, but is slated for a 2018 premiere.
