As announced by Marvel, longtime editor Nick Lowe has been promoted to Vice President of Content, Digital Publishing. As part of this new title, Lowe will be in charge of Marvel's Video Comics initiative. The Video Comics line encompasses the digital-first Infinite Comics, which incorporate motion elements specifically designed for a screen, as well as Disney XD's recently-launchd Marvel Video Comics series.

Marvel Video comics feature original stories, art and voice performances and exist in-between comics and animation. You can watch the first Video Comics starring Black Panther, Spider-Man and Iron Man below.

In addition to his new duties as the VP of Content, Digital Publishing, Lowe will continue to serve as an Executive Editor for Marvel's publishing line, where he works on titles like "Spider-Gwen," "Silk," "Mosaic" and "Sorcerers Supreme."

Nick will continue his work as Executive Editor, presenting Marvel Comics fans with exciting new characters like Spider-Gwen, Silk, Mosaic, and the Sorcerers Supreme. In the new role of Vice President of Content, Digital Publishing, Nick will explore exciting new corners of the Marvel Universe through Marvel’s Infinite Comics and further evolve the Marvel brand by crafting entirely unique original content beginning with Marvel’s Video Comics which recently premiered on Disney XD.
