First, YÅ«saku Komiyama revealed the never-before-seen story of just how Ultron came to exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, the Japanese manga artist has turned his attention towards another threat with "Avengers: Zombies Assemble."

The manga, which debuts on the Japanese version of the Mangabox platform this Wednesday, features a surprise birthday party for Tony Stark that goes wrong -- horribly wrong -- when the Marvel Zombies crash the happy occasion, turning a number of the heroes in the process.

According to Anime News Network, the manga is Japanese-exclusive, much like the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" prequel that debuted in "Shonen Magazine" earlier this month.

While the cover art released thus far consists only of a small, cropped thumbnail of a zombiefied hand reaching for Tony Stark's head, Twitter account AmeComiGazo posted the following interior art.
