Capcom also announced a Story Demo is now available for download, as fans received deeper insight into the threat of Ultron-Sigma and its rule over the galaxy using the Infinity Stones from the Marvel Universe.

In the footage, the new recruits team with the likes of Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Rocket Raccoon, Chun Li, Ryu, Strider and Hulk. There's also a first look at Zero from the Mega Man X franchise, as well as the man who's apparently brainwashed him into a villain, Grandmaster Meio.

The coalition of Marvel and Capcom heroes is also seen assembling at Stark Tower to form an uneasy alliance with Thanos to retrieve the remaining four Infinity Stones after Ultron-Sigma's possession of the other two kickstarted a reign of terror. The Mad Titan graciously accepts the offer while revealing the whereabouts of the Power and Time Stones, leaving the alliance with no choice but to trust him and embark on a plan of attack against the hybrid villain.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will arrive Sept. 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC, and will include single-player Arcade, Training and Mission modes, and multi-player content, as well as an immersive cinematic Story Mode.
