Marvel Universe Live!, the upcoming multimillion-dollar arena tour show from Marvel and Feld Entertainment, is getting its own comic-book prequel. You have to buy tickets for the production to snag one, though.

The limited-edition one-shot, by Frank Tieri, Miguel Sepulveda and Jay David Ramos, with a cover by Mike McKone, is available for free to those in the continental United States who order tickets to the show between today and June 1.

Employing a combination of state-of-the-art special effects, pyrotechnics and aerial stunts, Marvel Universe Live! centers on the Cosmic Cube, which has been split into pieces by Thor to keep the device out of the wrong hands. But when Loki hatches a plan to clone the item’s powers, the Marvel superheroes must unite for a globe-spanning mission to secure all of the pieces before the villains can.

According to IGN, the comic explains how Thor ends up with the Cosmic Cube, and introduces the Lectro Link, a device created by Tony Star and Peter Parker that "provides a remote power source for the Iron Man suit."

The two-year, 85-city North American tour kicks off July 10 in Tampa, Florida. Tickets, which range in price from $45 to $150, are on sale now.
