Marvel has a history of teasing its trailer releases with shorter bits of footage, ramping up anticipation for the longer version. In fact, it's become a popular move for a few blockbuster films to release a quick-cut preview for the trailer of its next big film. It should come as little surprise that Marvel Studios has released a 17-second preview of the "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" trailer scheduled to drop tomorrow. Characterized by quick cuts and bursts of familiar faces including Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow; plus, a quick blink-and-you'll-miss-it splash of Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. Check it out below.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" stars Marvel Cinematic Universe veterans Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Cobie Smulders, Haley Atwell, Toby Jones and Max Hernandez, along with newcomers Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre and Robert Redford. It opens April 4, 2014.
