It's pretty safe to say most people aren't exactly thrilled about the news that Sony and Disney are currently at an impasse regarding the future of their massively successful, shared Spider-Man franchise. Seemingly out of nowhere, one of the most universally beloved aspects of recent MCU entries now seems to be fading into ash, with both the respective Marvel and Spider-Man franchises forced into major shakeups moving forward.Fans, actors, and directors have already voiced their frustrations over what appears to be financial disputes between the two powerhouse studios, prompting a number of hashtag campaigns including #SpiderManFarFromTheMCU, #SonyIsOverParty and #SaveSpiderMan spreading across Twitter.
