Moore, who plays Frank Castle's military partner Curtis Hoyle, shared the image of the vigilante's iconic skull logo on Twitter, accompanied by the message, "Just in case you forgot! 2017 it's going down!" Hoyle is described as “a friend of Frank Castle and one of the few people who knows he is alive.”

Not much is known about the plot of The Punisher, but recent images from the set of the series, which recently wrapped production, show Bernthal’s Castle fully geared up, and just a bit battle-worn, with that same skull symbol a little worse for wear.
