The eighth annual Long Beach Comic Con is a month away, and CBR has the exclusive first look at the initial four panels announced for the show, which takes place Sept. 17 and Sept. 18.

On that Saturday, two of the biggest publishers in today's comic book industry will each be in the spotlight: Marvel and Image Comics. "A Marvel-ous Universe!" will include "Captain America: Steve Rogers" and "Captain America: Sam Wilson" writer Nick Spencer, comics and Marvel Studios veteran Craig Kyle, Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park and "Marvel's Agent Carter" writer Brandon Easton. "Celebrating Image Comics Past & Present" will host the "Morning Glories" team of Spencer and Joe Eisma, along with writer of "C.O.W.L." and "Hardian's Wall," Kyle Higgins.

Then on Sunday, DC Comics has the spotlight with both "Wonder Woman Turns 75," featuring Wonder Woman voice actor Susan Eisenberg and "Wonder Woman '77" artist Cat Staggs. That's followed by "The Artists of DC Comics," which features Staggs, "Titans" artist Brett Booth and Colleen Doran, who recently added "Justice League 3001" to her considerable list of credits.

Details of the panels are below, and the show's full programming schedule should be announced shortly. CBR's Albert Ching (that's me!) will moderate all four. This year's Long Beach Comic Con takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Long Beach Convention Center, about 25 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
