Although little is known about Marvel Comics' upcoming Incoming event series at this time, a new image teases key mutants that have featured prominently in Jonathan Hickman's House of X and Powers of X will play a role.
The image shows Professor Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto and En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse together on a puzzle piece. Professor X holds a flower resembling those he's turned into designer drugs as leverage to get other nations to legitimize the mutant nation of Krakoa. It's unclear at this time just how Incoming might connect to House of X and Powers of X, which are still ongoing but will have concluded by the time the event rolls around later this year.
Although there are few details on Incoming at this time, the initial announcement featured a teaser image with an unknown figure wielding a sword He-Man style, with ominous-looking eyes in the background and the tag, "One will unite them!" A later image then teased the potential of the series being a murder mystery of some sort, and the most recent promo put the Eternity Mask from Marvel Comics #1000 front and center.
Incoming is set for release on December 26.
