At this week's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Blu-ray release press event, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige spoke about a number of topics -- including "Captain Marvel's" casting, "Doctor Strange's" plot and "Captain America: Civil War's" finality. During a one-on-one with MTV, Feige also spoke out about Spider-Man, the character Marvel Studios can now use thanks to a deal struck with Sony earlier this year.

With Spider-Man could potentially come a number of other characters ripe for a spinoff -- like Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew), Spider-Gwen (Gwen Stacy) and Spider-Man (Miles Morales). When asked about the potential spinoff properties, Feige revealed that Marvel is laser-focused on getting their version of Spider-Man off the ground.

"Well, there could be [spin-offs]," Feige said. "But the truth is, our job right now is that single Spider-Man movie based in the MCU. And that's where all our focus is."

And while Feige admitted he had not seen the fake "Spider-Gwen" trailer that made the rounds earlier this week, he did have a positive thing to say about Marvel's newest web-slinger.

"I think Spider-Gwen in the comics is cool," said Feige.

There already is one Spider-spinoff screenplay waiting to be produced: the "Sinister Six" one that Drew Goddard wrote back before Marvel's deal with Sony. All plans for the film were indefinitely stalled when the deal happened, but Goddard still holds out hope that it will happen. It'll have to wait until "Spider-Man" swings into theaters, though.

"Spider-Man" opens on July 28, 2017.
